Notonos Goodness Standard

What is this Goodness Standard?

Okay, it may sound a little bit cheesy, but it is good cheesy. Our Goodness Standard spills out our ethical beliefs and the way we work at Notonos Global (“Notonos”). It is corporate responsibility on steroids.

Notonos’ Goodness Standard is our additional and voluntary commitment to good business practice, which complements compliance requirements set out by regulatory authorities.

Why do you have a Goodness Standard?

Notonos Global was born out of the belief that social progress and business success can and should coexist.

While we face challenging issues around the world, those challenges serve as a motivator for problem-solving and innovation. They also act as a reminder that when a business operates outside an ethical and sustainable framework, the detrimental impact is felt by all.

Notonos’ Goodness Standard is our commitment to the wider community. It is our compass, guiding us to be the solution provider in both the commercial sense and for the betterment of the world.

What is in the Goodness Standard?

It is pretty straightforward really. Our Goodness Standard is based on the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, a principle-based approach to doing good business (see table below).

The Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact summarises the fundamental responsibilities from the following 4 documents:

  • the Universal Declaration of Human Rights,
  • the International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work,
  • the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and
  • the United Nations Convention Against Corruption.

What does this mean for you as our client, supplier, partner or staff member?

Again, it is simple (you would have noticed by now that we, at Notonos, strive for simplicity).

We believe in an inclusive and equitable approach when operating our business. Concepts such as gender equality and cultural diversity are a given. We value financial transparency, so we are not interested in any dodgy business practices. Our team works hard to deliver high-quality outcomes and we work ethically.

By choosing to work with us, we expect you to accept our work ethics and principles. Notonos always holds the right to refuse working with any parties who do not share our social value and ethical standards.

May our Goodness Standard inspire us all.
